Day 01 – ARRIVE LEH (LADAKH) (By Flight: 9W 609 - ETA 0655 Hrs)
You will be met by our representative at the airport and you would be transferred to your hotel where you will proceed for check -in.

LADAKH (Little Tibet) - It is renowned for its Buddhist monasteries which are dotted all over the sparsely populated countryside, each rich decorated with painting and virtually a storehouse for ancient religious manuscripts. The defiant beauty of its clear barren landscapes, its unique flora and fauna, its culture, its clear blue skies and clean air, the land where snow never melts and only corn ripens.

Today will be at Leisure for acclimatizing to the rarefied atmosphere of the high altitude of 3500 Mts. In the evening visit Leh town and Leh Bazaar (on foot).
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Morning visit important Monasteries of Leh - Pheyang Gompa, Spituk Monastery, Shanker Gompa, Leh Palace & Shanti Stupa.

Pheyang Gompa - Situated on the Leh-Srinagar road, it looks like a huge palace from afar, built by Tashi Namgyal in the later half of the 16th century A.D. It belongs to the Red Cap sect of Buddhist.

Spituk Monastery - Situated on Leh Srinagar highway, built on top of a smll hill overlooking river Indus. This chamber also contains an ancient collection of masks.

Sankar Gompa - It is the only monastery built on valley level and the seat of the yellow sect of Buddhist. It has a formidable collection of miniature statues of pure gold and a number of wall paintings. Another statue of Chanzeri with 1000 eyes, 1000 arms and 1000 legs is a goregeous representation of Buddhist deity.

Leh Palace - Built in the late 16th century by Singay Namgiyal, the palace stands like a sentinel overlooking the town.
Shanti Stupa - Located on the hilltop at Changspa. Constructed by a Japanese Buddhist organization, known as \"The Japanese for World Peace\". A Magnificent white domed structure offers spectacular views of the sunrise and sunset.

In the morning your journey starts towards Khardung - la Pass

Khardung -La Pass - The highest motor-ale pass & Gateway to Siachen Glacier. In the North falls the Saser range with the Saser Kangri Peak, 100m above the Mount Everest Base camp. In the south, the Zanskar and Stok ranges dominate the horizon.

Later drive back to Leh. Afternoon will be at leisure, free for independent activities. Evening visit to a Ladadkhi family.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Morning visit important Monasteries of Leh-Thiksey, Shey & Hemis.

Thiksey Monastery - It is the twelve storey Monastery, consists of 8 temples and about 250 resident lamas.

Shey Palace & Monastery - It is the summer palace of the erstwhile rulers of Leh, surrounded by picturesque gardens. Built in 1620 A.D. The palace has the largest victory stupa, topped with pure gold. There is a spectacular ouble storey statue of Buddha Sayamunni in a sitting posture.

Hemis Monastery - Situated in a side ravine off the main Indus valley with colorful flags flutter on the four pillars in the courtyard against the backdrop of white walls and a lue sky.

Day 05 – DEPART LEH (LADAKH) (by flight: 9W 610 - ETD 0735 Hrs)
Early morning you will be transferred to leh airport in time to board flight to back home.
